Today we released Blackmagic Camera 7.8 Public Beta which adds support for live streaming with Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2.
This update allows you to stream directly to platforms such as YouTube and Facebook by connecting the camera to a network via mobile phone tethering or a USB to Ethernet adapter. This means you can stream your content instantly to your favourite streaming platform from almost anywhere, all while recording a high quality Blackmagic RAW master.
In addition, this update adds support for streaming from Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 to an ATEM Streaming Bridge. When the ATEM Streaming Bridge is connected to an ATEM switcher, you get full support for camera control, tally and talkback. This means the camera operator can stream live to the studio while receiving instructions, having their camera color corrected live and see when they are on air all through the one streaming link. Support for camera control, tally and talkback requires installation of ATEM Switchers 8.6.5 on your ATEM Streaming Bridge.
